Who we are

About NextGen America

An independent American publication, reported and edited by young people.

NextGen America is a digital-first publication for readers who want evidence and context, not only a headline. We cover U.S. news, politics, world affairs, the economy, culture and campus life, and we publish explainers and fact checks alongside our reporting.

Why we exist

Young Americans inherit the decisions being made now, yet rarely see newsrooms built around their questions. We are building one: serious in method, clear in language, and run by the people it is for.

What we hold to

Show our sources. Explain what we know, what we do not, and why it matters. Keep opinion clearly labeled and separate from reporting. Read the full list in our editorial standards.
